DESCRIPTION: The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Headquarters Orientation program is designed to
provide new County Emergency Management Coordinators and Deputy Emergency Management Coordinators with the opportunity to
become familiar with the key personnel assigned to the Divisions, Bureaus, Offices, and Programs housed at the
Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency Headquarters. The program entails a room-to-room, face-to-face meeting with the
points of contact that all County Emergency Management Personnel will be working with on a day-to-day basis.
The orientation runs for 2 to 3 hours.
TARGET AUIDENCE: The target auidance is restricted to new County Emergency Management Coordinators, new Deputy
Emergency Management Coordinators

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Registration will begin immediately; however, registration approval may not occur until 7 days prior to the start of the course.

COST REQUIREMENT: The student is responsible for travel, phone, and meal costs. Llunch will NOT be provide on days that include
only 4 hours of training (0800 to 1200).

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Class start at 9:00 am and end by 12:00 pm.
