Course Description: Course title: #2 CACFP Meal Pattern- Child and Adult Nutrition Changes
Course Duration: 45 minutes
Course Description:  This training is not a comprehensive CACFP training, we will focus on only the changes to the meal patterns which will be effective October 1, 2017. This is a 4 part series on new meal pattern requirements. You are required to participate all 4 training's if your Institution is licensed for infant care. One person from your Institution is required to complete new meal pattern training; we encourage all directors and cooks to complete the training's. If your institution is not licensed for infant care you are required to participate in 3 of the training; the fourth training is specific to infants only.  

This training will cover the following topics: milk requirements, allowance for yogurt in lieu of milk, sugar limits in yogurt, juice requirements, and fruit and vegetable requirement in a separate component.
